Costil Pantilmon

Is the correct answer - If Sunderland go down, he's the key buy. Tim Krul as well if available is a good option. Both have a good 10-14 years in them. Problem is I can't see Newcastle or Sunderland letting them go.

Hennessey probably deserves a run in the first team as well though, I remember him being pretty decent for Wolves.

From the BBC gossip section today

Crystal Palace manager Alan Pardew will try and sign Dutch keeper Tim Krul, 27, from his former club Newcastle for £10m. (Sun - subscription required)

Krull! I'd pay £10m for the cyclops alone

That'd be Guzan who consistently kicked the ball out of play on every goal kick and feigned injury when they played us... haven't seen him play well ever. No thanks

i wouldnt mind a tim krul at the palace next season. i think he would consider the move hes been at newcastle long enough to realise that he cant go any further so why not want a new challenge. just a thought.

brad jones at liverpool. hes the bench warmer would he be in trested and would he be good enough?

brad guzan. currently in a dog fight with villa maybe he would want to be more stable and join the eagles.
thats my top 3 will put in order i want them

1 tim krul
2 brad guzan
3 brad jones

According to the papers Southampton are in for Krul too. If true and we both went in for him, Pardew's relationship with Krul and Forster's expected recover could make all the difference.

Brad Jones!?!??! are you serious, I still can't figure out how he is with a premier club. A 50 year old Speroni would still be better than him. plus he is only 2 years younger anyways.

Krul would be alright. Still would rather give Hennessey a go. Not sure why we've already bypassed him. Costel Pantilimon? f*** off. No thanks. Very error-prone and doesn't fit the dynamic of our team well at all. Not sure where you lot pulled him out of. He's peter crouch in goal with less talent and an uglier missus. If we must sell Hennessey (why?) then either ruddy or krul. Or butland if he becomes available. Future world class keeper.

Krul would be a significant upgrade on what we already have. Yes please.

speaking for myself but maybe also a few on here re Hennessey. I just think that if he had what it takes then it would have been picked up by the goal keeping coaches and management in general and we wouldn't be linked with all these different goalies.
He's also abviously come here with first team promises by Pullis at the time and it hasn't worked out that way for him for whatever reason. So, he might want to be given the chance to be number one elsewhere. That's kind of how it looks to me anyway.

Pardiola says he's happy with our GK's and that it isn't a position that we are looking to bring anyone new in for.
