Parish's rhetoric wasn't that negative about signing him. If I were him I'd forget Newcastle. Sounds like hell up there. On their way down while we pass them on the up

Got a gut feeling we'll get Austin for 10 million and Gayle. i'd prefer it to be Campbell but we'll never find a buyer fro him. on a completely different note always thought Parish would look good in a toga with a laurel crown.

Everybody is playing the waiting game, see who makes the first move. If Leicester did bid £12m, it seems strange they couldn't negotiate on that, unless Austin just flat out refused to go there. No one wants to show their cards first as there is probably a big shark lurking.

The chairmans comments made me think a 'big team' was interested and if we are competing with everton, west ham etc.. in the market, big makes me think top 6. I wouldn't be surprised if he ended up at one of them.

Chelsea were showing interest, but now Remy is staying that has gone cold. Maybe it was them?
Could see big chunk of money, and 2 or 3 players, like it has been reported.

A friend of mine who supports QPR reckons that they will hang out for £15m so with that in mind I don't think he will end up at selhurst tbh.

I can't imagine that Kane and Austin would be partnered together though. And if not, I doubt they'd buy him just to bench him.
On another note, people claim that English players' prices are hugely inflated. Think about this: spurs could sign Austin, who has had a phenomenal season in this league for 12-15 mill, while they spent 28 million on soldado, who was three years older, never had success in this league or in European competition, and had a couple of really good seasons in a weaker league. When viewed like that, Austin looks a bargain, while soldado looks like the biggest waste of money since torres.

Guedioura is wanted by QPR, add in Murray (gulp) and bingo!
