He just playing the bluff, we are the exciting dynamic inform progressing team. If other teams got a sniff we was after Austin it would start a bidding war! I'm confident we have players to offer plus cash to make this happen!! In Pardew & Parish we trust!!!!

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Charlie Austin (rumour)' by james03 My mate who I always get info on transfers (he's a journalist but called as many wrong as right) also reckons we're interested but it all depends on players going out. Pardew and the board are pleased they got players over the line before the season but are surprised there have been no outgoings. This is preventing us from signing Austin (named by journo) and a centre back who he reckons is NOT the Celtic lad. He's come up trumps before but also spoke s***e! He is also considering moving away from sports journalism as he is being encouraged to pluck stories out of the air. Part of the problem is twofold mind. Yes they need stories to sell papers but he says it's getting increasingly difficult to make solid contacts with people in football these days as you have to go through their press departments.

Odds currently on Skybet 4/7, BetVictor 1/3 on Charlie going to Man United. Can't see it myself but who knows This seems a bit like Lambert to Liverpool. I don't think it would work for him or for them.

One Palace fringe player has now gone on loan (Bannan) and I guess its possible QPR themselves might take another (Guedioura) plus cash? So there might be enough movement on more fringe Palace players to make a move for Austin possible?
