You might have Spurs as your biggest rivals but they have Arsenal as theirs. So unfortunately, you are second.

I do admit that Chelsea do indeed Arsenal do have the most support in South London, you do however see a lot of Palace too, especially in places such as Streatham, Sydenham, Dulwich, the Norwoods, (including west) and even a fair share in Brixton. i even see quite a few in New Cross and Peckham too.

P.S. I have never known of, seen or met any palace in Peckham or New Cross, and I have a long association with both areas. You're mostly a suburban club. end of.

Even now days most still class you as a Surrey club. Yes you might have an SE postcode but you're on the arse end of south London on the borders with Surrey, while we still play in the heart of south London. All this "south London is ours" rubbish. Most of you wouldn't be able to find your way around inner city south London without google maps.

You won't be in south London much longer anyway so it won't be a problem in Kent will it.

Haha, way off the mark Dave. Never lived in Meopham, never worked in Meopham, never even drank in Meopham. In fact, only ever driven through the place.

Hahahah you think we was formed in Selhurst/Norwood? loool We was formed in Crystal Palace. We actually did play in inner London too in Herne Hill Veledrone. You forgetting.. Don't be f***ing silly too a lot of us live in proper south London. Brixton Streatham, Sydenham, Balham, Dulwich, etc Most of you live in kent or the SE London suburbs like Sidcup/Bexley Eltham etc. You the Arsenal of the south in claiming you something when you really not. I always wanted to ask as well, when you came to south London why didn't you change your name to New Cross football club or even New Cross Millwall.. Then I might of considered you being true south London. Crystal Palace, Charlton (although being more SE London) , AFC Wimbledon (SW London), and even Dulwich Hamlet to me are true south London clubs

No one is denying that we are an inner city club though? Well i have. Even kids these days i seen in "Millwall areas" are wearing palace shirts. I only go with what I see. Anyway like one other person said here, you be off to North Kent soon, you become even more suburban than us....

This article sums it up better than I ever could. [Link]
To actually come out with 'palace' and 'inner city club ' in the same sentence shows how deluded you are.

Well our chairman is from Peckham but I agree palace fans past Dulwich are few and far between. People moving to these areas now will be neither palace or Millwall but strictly premier league fans. We can argue all we want but the fact is both clubs catchment areas probably have more Chelsea fans than either. There's not much between palace and Millwall in terms of fan Base but we would both be far better off if people supported their local team.

Whatever our clubs identity is at least we have no worries of loosing it.

Agree, of fans who say they support a club but only go to watch them on tv When they're on in the pub then arsenal have the biggest 'support' in New Cross and it's probably Chelsea in Peckham. For fans who actually go and watch football live then Millwall still have the biggest support in both areas.

I've never met a palace fan who lives, works or drinks in New Cross and I have lots of family from that area and done lots of drinking around there over the last 25 years. Same could be said for Peckham. I went to primary school there too and there wasn't one palace fan in our school.
