Not sure I'd categorise this one as 'great', but I like the intro to Video Killed The Radio Star by Buggles and have it as the start up tune on my PC.

Did you know that Brian Eno wrote the windows start up tune?

To be fair I can't verify this, could be an urban myth.

It's true! He got paid £30,000 for a five second piece of music, which doesn't seem bad pro-rata. However, it was used by windows on millions of pc's.

I don't think Eno will be too worried, given he's produced some of the biggest selling albums of al time.
