This post has been merged from a topic called 'staffie has sadly passed away' by Guntrisoft I have just read the terribly sad news on twitter that staffie has passed away. Rest in Peace, you will always be true HOL legend and a member of the CPFC family.He even posted some links to the match on Saturday before going to hospital.Gutted.

Can't believe it, very sad news. Rest in Peace Staffie. I'm just another who only knows him from HOL but from my own experiences I agree with many other posts that he was such a selfless person. My condolences go out to his family and friends

God bless you staffie. The joy you provided to me and fellow Palace fans for years will never be forgotten. People like you, who quietly give so much without getting or wanting anything in return, are the real heroes of life. 'You will be missed' doesn't quite cover it. Rest easy and in peace my friend.

never knew staffie, or that he was ill. But im so shocked at learning of his passing. His links to games etc were selfless and invaluable to all of us. I also think the staffie match thread is a great idea. RIP staffie

Tragic to hear that staffie's passed, an absolute legend and a real loss for cpfc, this site and the world. RIP mate, my condolences to his close friends and family
