Staffie was always helpful and friendly.
The nicest man I never met, whichs is a tribute to his ability to connect to people through a computer connection.

There was no person more important to my inception as a palace fan than staffie. Regionally, the only access to palace for years were his radio links. Due to his diligence I listened to every game at 7 am like clockwork. Without them I'd have never had the chance to grow with this team as a fan.

Thank you, staffie; from across the pond.

Has anyone suggested a staffie wake before the Hull game? It would be good to raise a glass in honour of the man in the company of others who share my respect for him. Anyone have any suggestions for a venue? I know he didn't drink, but I'm sure he wouldn't have objected to us meeting in a local watering hole.

I was thinking the same thing, it's a shame the White horse changed hands, the hol boys are quite split up now and drink in several pubs.

Perhaps we can arrange a Hol meet in one of the pubs. Come on people, this is in staffie's memory.

Crystal Palace - dull it's not!

Maybe all a bit late for this week, but time to sort something for the Swansea game perhaps, unless someone starts another thread for the wake.

Does anyone know if it would be possible to have a minutes silence at a home game or have a message on the big screen at Selhurst Park in memory of staffie? I thought it would be nice as a LOT of Palace fans will know who he is and he has touched many lives. Maybe we could sing a song like "there's only one legend staffie" to the winter wonderland song. Just a thought...

Think I heard that there is going to be a minutes silence at every ground this week anyway. Think it was for Bradford fire.

has resisted writing a single post on the Ross McCormack thread !!!

RIP Staffie,

A great loss to this Board and to all Palace fans.

The crowd is outstanding, and especially with the penalty after 44 minutes it was clear when we came out after half-time the welcome would be pretty loud and not too friendly. Crystal Palace wanted to strike back, so that was all clear. This is a wonderful place to play football - Jurgen Klopp
