Any establishment/business that bans pikeys, gypo's and socially undesirable people has my custom assured.

From my experience, Weatherspoon pubs tend to attract people on an 'economy of scale drinking plan'. During the day they seem to be popular with those who are waiting to die, those who wished they were waiting to die, pikeys and people who are waiting to be convicted of child sex crimes.

Evening can be a little better, but we went into the Back of Beyond (the classy Wetherspoons of Reading) and it was basically full of the despondent, the chronic alcoholic and those who had styled themselves of an classic 'child sex offender'.

I'm not sure they can be too upset with Pikeys.

Obviously you have been in a few to have witnessed this yourself, to had rubbed shoulders with the rest of us pauper ruffiens'

You can't even stand at the bar in my local spoons.

Round our way most the young ladies have trouble standing up at any bar.

'Drink to an economy of scale' tends to include me and mine, plus there's some gypsy blood in these veins. F**king dismal places outside of a Friday or Saturday evening.

I dont stand at the bar however it didn't go down well with the people that did. Pubs only busy on match days now and the t*** of a manager puts the price of son drinks up plus food. Carlsberg is £1.80 normally but is £2.90 on match day.

LOL the previous year the gaff got ripped up so you can't blame them.

It's the landlord's discretion IMO.

However, considering the Irish bakery just got busted for refusing to make a gay cake it shows that one cannot exclude anybody based on their make up.

Gayist! You can't make such a crass observation. Just because every single heem bloke ludicrously wears vast amounts of girly lippy and stuff, like girls - if not in public then definitely in private - is no reason for you to highlight it. Hate crime!

That's a rule at most of them, when they're busy of the evening, the ones in Reading are the same, apparently its to facilitate serving customers and avoiding agro from people knocking into one another.
