Been four times and found it predictably grim but only saw right in the centre and around Moss Side and Levenshulme.

Liverpool was better.

And this from a man who lives in Scotland..Pot and kettle i think

But I live in Devon.

Scotland is mostly fvcking stunning. You've never been I'll bet. Best you don't. Don't want to spoil it.

LOL - I have only been a couple of times, thought it was quite nice actually

"Quite nice" - whacyoutalkin'bout Tom? Reigate is quite nice. Scotland is immensely bloody beautiful if you just avoid the Neds and estates and Glasgow and those Loyalist terror guys living in Ayr now

Why are you in Devon then?

The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money.

Living the hi-life there my friend!

It's a great city if you avoid the bad bits (of which there are many!).

And I see signs of half remembered days, I hear bells that chime in strange familiar ways
