I'm fairly sure that in the event of Dann leaving another pretty decent centre back would come in to replace him so we needn't worry. I am more worried about Bolasie leaving personally.

In all seriousness though, Hangeland and Kelly would do fine. No, it's not a top 6 partnership. But it's far from shoddy. While Brede is getting on a bit...his class and experience is there for all to see. And Kelly was in the England frame for a reason.

Personally I would like it if Jedinak could be converted to a CB. He's getting on now and always looks ponderous when the ball gets behind him. Keep the play in front of him and utilise his fantastic ball winning skills. He could always step in to midfield late in a game if we are hanging on while bringing on Brede for one of the more creative midfielders. A duo of Jedi and Dann (if we keep him) would be awesome

I think we would need to teach Jedi to foul a little less if we were to convert him into a CB

I think we tried Jedinak at centre back before and it didn't go too well

Correct - it was a complete disaster that I'm sure we will never explore again. If Scott Dann leaves then there isn't a CB in the country that we could realistically sign of the same quality.
