An Ipseich mate of mine has the following to say about him on the news Bournemouth reportedly bid 8m for mings. "Not a football playing left back and was only playing non league football a little over a year ago, madness!" Reckon this is a big gamble by Bournemouth and no better than we have but they are paying over the odds to secure his signature. There's a reason palace only bud £3.5m for him and no other teams have cone in for him.

Another way of looking at it is to laugh at all those on HOL who said "we haven't got a chance of signing him. He'll go to one of the big clubs." I presume they'll be eating their words again if we sign Cabaye.
