I would think that the electricity is charged Free as the train would generate its own power...

Trains don't generate their own power. They use fuel which they convert to produce power. Plugging in to a trains socket will consume more fuel, which isn't free.

Hate to be an anorak, all the trains round here (Southern, Overground etc) are electric - look at the track & you'll see the power (3rd) rail

So electricity is generated in a power station or wherever then used by the train

Actually what I should of said is that the trains make their own residual electricity which probably runs the lights, doors etc...

I do this loads. iPhone batteries are sh*te and it's handy on the way back from London sometimes. If someone tells me to stop, I will. No one ever has though.

The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money.

IF the socket has a sign "For cleaners only" then of course it is plain that it should NOT be used by the general public to charge their appliances. The gentleman says there was NO such sign and if so one can understand why he used the socket to charge his phone.

The report indicates that he was aggressive and if so one can understand why he was handcuffed and taken away.

This story sums up modern Britain, a land fit for jobsworths. Adolf Hitler and Warden Hodges would be proud.

You mean the fares that some members of the public choose to pay when they choose to use the services?

What if they're also a cleaner? Could apply to any woman so it's a bit vague isn't it.
