The parent should be done for child negelect, unless there is a medical condition for him having bigget tits than most if not all of the girls in his year including the teachers.

The Teachers should be done as well, one kid with sun burn is an accident, 4 is negelecting thier duty of care.

25 is usually enough for me but on any school trips I pack a bottle of 50 because parents can be dumb enough to pack the kids off with nothing. In fact I've just bought pe kits in 3 different sizes because I got fed up last year of kids missing PE by deliberately 'forgetting' their PE kits.

Parents are maddening though and it shouldn't be my responsibility to stump up for kids who's parents forget. I do though because it's not fair on the kids themselves.

Which is good of you, and the vast majority of parents would thank you for it, but as soon as the first one suffers an allergic reaction to the suncream you provided, they'll be all over you like a rash.

The other kids will be a bit annoyed

"The school is now considering not allowing any further trips abroad"

So no more trips because this porky wanted to be an twit, and his mother wants compo

Never mind, they've had their 15 minutes of fame, and perhaps he can use some of the cash from the papers to pay for a breast reduction

She should be more concerned he is a 15 year old boy with tits..

The kid has moobs and is obese. He needs to get some exercise. As for whose fault it is, well it's a bit of both. The mother should have made sure he had something stronger than factor 15 and the teachers should have been more involved and enforced their policy of the kids applying sun cream.

As the article says: ""On the day of the pre-planned trip to a water park the group were told at breakfast and before leaving the coach on arrival to apply suncream and be careful of the sun. The group were positioned in a shaded area and reminded regularly during the day to keep applying sun cream.

"Unfortunately a small minority of children chose to ignore every one of these warnings and teachers' advice to protect themselves by staying in the shade during the day.

"Staff were very upset that the children did suffer burns but there was nothing they could do. The other children had a superb holiday and did not suffer sunburn because they followed instructions."

So, since they are prohibited from laying hands on the pupils and actually applying the sun cream to their bodies (and the parents and children were all made aware of THAT fact too), what more do you suggest that they could have done to enforce their policy?

Well if they noticed the kids not applying sun cream they should have given them some and told them to apply it or they would have privileges withdrawn, I'm pretty sure that would have worked.
