I agree syd it's very possible that remy was unobtainable untill they had a better option. Although this could be to counter gal so possibly leaving who knows but Ears open fingers crossed time, come on SP go get the striker most of us want.

If we get both that would be great considering it's looking like we will not get anyone.

Both will be great back up for Campbell who is going to score 15 goals before the end of the season.

Terms agreed with Chelsea at 1.7mill a year so 32.5k a week, we could have paid that but I'm guessing he's going to get a huge signing bonus.

I'd have still taken a punt, even if it might have been a huge signing bonus. Been fit for the last 3 years and is looking near back to his best when he could win a game.
When you have that much class it just doesn't fade.
