Who cares if someone is being pedantic or sarcastic?!? Point is, Parish said we'd hear about two signings "before tomorrow" and here we are in the early afternoon having heard nothing. Come on SP et al, don't leave us hanging!

The football world moves so quickly these days I'm not sure why people are against good loan signings. Signing a youngster on a 5 year contract guarantees nothing if a big club come sniffing they'll get him. We've had some cracking loans in the past (I still get misty eyed at Paul Stewart single-handedly winning us promotion). If it improves the squad even for just one season then it's been worthwhile. No one knows what's going to happen in 1, 2 or 5 years - it's not that kind of game anymore. And even without seeing him kick a ball I'm guessing he's better than Sanogoals.
Our solid defence (Nigel in goal, cookie and ninja) were key as was Southgate in midfield and Armstrong's goals upfront. Stewart played his part, but lets not exaggerate Edited by palace99 (21 Jul 2015 3.32pm) Edited by palace99 (21 Jul 2015 3.33pm)
