Lots of people on the train have said it was.

It's just all the video evidence that undermines them.

Define lots too, as I thought it meant a large number.

Having used Virgin trains many times, I have no doubt that it became very busy as the train journey progressed, but the CCTV seems to show that it's not very busy when he joins the train.

Surely this just shows that regardless of the politician or their ideology, they are all open to spinning a story - or at the very least allowing their PR teams to do just that.

I don't disagree with any of that I don't think.

I see the current Labour party as a very poor opposition. But at least half of that is because the party is so divided. If the backbenchers shut their mouths and stood behind Corbyn I still think they'd lose the election but at least they would be a more effective unit.

Ah, ok, I thought you were "throwing in your lot" with the Blairies, as it were.

Imagine if Corbyn had stuck with his principles over the EU referendum. As the leader of the only party which was for out, he'd be in such a strong position.

I actually think Corbyn much better reflects the views of large parts of the population than all his 'rebels'. But the politico-media class have it in for him, which is why we're constantly told what a lunatic and hopeless leader he is.

Very much agree with this Johnny.

I thought you'd left.

No.... you just hoped I had.

I promised to keep reading the posts and if I felt it necessary would make the effort to get my gnarled hands typing a response.

Felt Corbyn's lies and deceit on the Virgin train was worthy of comment/discussion.... thank you for asking.

How much of a complete and utter loser do you have to be to come out and moan about the trains, and you yourself come out looking the dick.

The bloke is a buffoon.

My assessment of him has come about observing him, his actions and what he says.... I've not been told what to think about him!

For a start if he had principles he would have backed the EU Leave campaign but he chose to bat for Remain even though that went against his 40 year battle to discredit the EU bureaucracy. His stance on not wanting to press the Nuclear button, his appearance.... this PMQ's faux pas....

[Link]

I just look at the scruffy tw@t, listen to what he has to say and either cringe or laugh.

He is not a credible candidate for Prime Minister!

Through what prism have you been observing him and finding out what he said? - and I don't mean out of context snippets

Your constant reference to his appearance says you are strongly influenced by things that should make no difference to you.

As JE has suggested, when the public are polled on his stated policies (anonymously) they are almost universally popular. His views are widely shared amongst the public.

He struggles with his persona and his media perception. But there's nothing about his political views that make him necessarily unelectable (the closest is probably his views on defense and nuclear weapons).

Just the small matter of him not wanting any. I could see this being a tiny tiny problem.

Not used Virgin rail for a while, but....

Never had a problem with Virgin and they have always offered a free Breakfast or wine.
