Not a long barrow

The sort of barrow you have in a market selling fruit etc.

Why bring Corbyn's plans for the country's defence into this?

I was reading a spat on Twitter between some "traditional" Labour Party members and members of momentum. Essentially Momentum don't believe in archaic knocking in doors. It's all about social media. When challenged about how they will learn what the public thinks, the response was that they don't care.

I have followed the split on Labour quite closely over the the last few months. A lot of my friends have voted Labour all their life but they really aren't sure whether they still belong in the party.

Nick, what is a "have not"? Genuine question, there's plenty that we could all claim not to have. The poor have been improving every year since 2009 according to the Institute of Fiscal studies. Not as quickly as the rich BUT there is an element of logic to that

the dignified don't even enter in the game

1. Plenty of positive responses from the good people of Eltham as well as a couple of 'As soon as we get those f***ing East Europeans out everything will be alright' type responses.

2. Have nots could be described as those who work hard but still struggle to pay bills / feed the family.

Well it was Eltham! What was the opinion about Corbyn?
In general I agree ref point 2 but there's a lot of people who are where they are due to over stretching themselves.

What about the have nots who don't work? I think that this is where the left / centre / right probably disagree most. What is your take on it?

BTW FYI: Ad Hominem
adjective
1. appealing to one's prejudices, emotions, or special interests rather than to one's intellect or reason.
2. attacking an opponent's character rather than answering his argument.

The word is "you're". Just saying
