My ideas have never even been nearly enacted by a rime minister in my lifetime mate, I don't expect it to change!

But I can at least be confident in Corbyn trying on matters I think are important. I think us letting tens of thousands of refugees drown in the sea is a scandal. I know it's something he cares about. I think inequality is a f*cking joke in Britain. It's what he's spent his whole life campaigning about. I think the very idea of establishing an NHS then let it fall in to ruin is a sign of a sick society. Ditto him.

Ok so his delivery's s*** but it's hardly helped by a media with a fairly explicit bias against him as Nick says. But compare it to the other side. I mean, what do the Tories even believe in? I honestly find it amazing that this question isn't asked more. Is there actually a firm thing they're moving towards or are they just prattling out empty bullsh*t like 'red white and blue brexit', 'caring society' and hoping everyone continues not to realise that they actually haven't got a f***ing clue what to do?

Like.

Seconded.

JC may be a career politician/hack,with all that goes with that..and while I agree with a lot of what he says (far from all),I'm very far from his biggest fan .BUT compared to the bilge opposite and the pure effluent spouted when you wash the PR away in terms of what "we" are becoming collectively ...no argument if its a straight choice between him and Teresa May(be I'm fifth rate, maybe only fourth rate)

I knew someone at work.Bulgarian.Worked really hard, she and her husband.Ace people. They had an issue with the Home Office because the case officer was talking out of their backside. No votes in it for Corbyn but as local MP he put himself out to help them. Was really impressive

How long would most of the fourth rate (am I being too generous?) Tory front bench last with the public if exposed to the ridicule and spleen chucked at Corbyn every day?About as long as Boris sticks to a "belief" before changing it

Why don't you support a politician who follows his convictions and delivers what he says he is going to do?

Choose life. Choose Farage.

Oh right, you mean the one that said there should be a second referendum if the vote was 52:48 and did a u turn shortly thereafter.Choose hypocrisy.Choose Farage

Forget views but I'd wager Corbyn has a lot more personal integrity in that regard than our friend Nige..

Nige is an archetypal political hack.

Really? Jezza says he wants freedom, democracy, fairness, free speech, etc., and then his Momentum cronies squash any dissent in Labour by using cheap insults and bullying.

They say you should judge a man by the company he keeps:

They say you should judge a man by the company he keeps, ergo, judge Jezza by Momentum. Ask Angela Eagle about Momentum's tolerance.

But that's no answer to my point though it bears some resemblance to internal goings on within UKIP since June..

All politicians are of a similar ilk (including Nige).Thought you at least realised that, even while supporting the guy whose views you agree with..Jezza better than most.

Anything newer than that 6 month old news?

Momentum are currently a seperate group to Labour (I thought you would have known this having posted the same thing about them so many times) although they voted for a rule change asking members to join labour. This will mean that a lot of people involved with momentum will have to leave as they've been barred from being Labour party members (many for spurious reasons)

Nigel was honest and consistent about what he wanted. And he achieved it.

Do you think the same of Jezza? Honestly.

Having met Corbyn on a couple of occasions (way before he became leader) I can categorically say that he is genuine and has consistently supported workers and other causes.

Honestly?

Jezza wants a society with less inequality.Do I believe he honestly and consistently believes in that and espouses that? Sure do.

As for "achievements",I don't think that's the road to go down when we are discussing honesty and probity...after all,Mussolini made the trains run on time and Hitler built the autobahns and Stalin the Moscow metro..The fullness of time will reveal how much of an "achievement" Brexit will be viewed as historically..

As for Nige's political "honesty",the campaign (which he won, sure) was dishonest and hack like in the extreme..

Nige is an archetypal politician..only difference is you agree with what he says rather than disagree...

You mean, like campaigning against the EU for all of your political career and then suddenly becoming a convert to Remain because your colleagues insisted on it?

That,my friend, is a not wholly unfair point

But on the integrity meter (given they're both hacks) I'd still rank him above dear Nige
