May was actually on her way to introduce Stormzy, but the fields of wheat around the festival proved too tempting for her...

In all seriousness, it wouldve been comedy gold seeing her on the pyramid stage.

About as much chance of May attending Glastonbury as Corbyn attending an armed forces day celebrations.

This man is going to be our leader. And a great leader he will make. Can't happen soon enough in my opinion.

I must say I haven't given this much thought hence interested to know what people think. Perhaps I should join #ToriesForCorbyn !!!!

What the same Corbyn who is going around in triumphant fashion ? One would think he actually WON the election.
Fact remains that his leftie party secured 1 million votes less than the Conservatives and ended behind by nearly 60 seats.

Leader of a party who deals in 'La-la land' and fantasy economics, promising what they could never deliver.Shameful and it is disturbing that there are those who were taken in by all this hogwash.

Time to go to bed now !

In times like these, majorities are won and lots by undecided and moderate voters. No matter your political hue it's your responsibility to broaden the appeal of your party not get preened by those already firmly in agreement by trotting out a bunch of cliches.

If the election was in three weeks then possibly, it coul just as easily be in 3 years though. It will all depend of how well the minority government can hang together. Right now they will do almost anything to avoid another election.

Love you mate. But I think it is unlikely. Assuming the conservatives hang on to next election Corbyn will be over 70. Who knows what his health will be like. The world economy will move on. Too many unknowns to believe his appeal will continue. As someone said he was a million votes and 60 seats short. That is a gargantuan mountain to climb. He has claimed the left vote and motivated a section of the youth vote. But he needs to win over non labour voters-- the so called swing voters. I don't see that happening. The Tories will raise their game after the shock they got.

Corbyn had his chance and fell short.

Yes, all those waving wheat fields and opera for the masses in the evenings.

We had a terrible manifesto and a terrible campaign to match and Corbyn benefitted accordingly.I trust this won't happen next time.

Anyway, I think I will leave these political threads alone as I only get on my 'Soapbox' and my blood pressure must get very raised ! Best I stick to the football debates !
