Are you saying that we should judge people, like Michael Fabricant, on their looks? BTW, Corbyn having links to the Iranian regime is newsworthy and in the public interest. If he has noth8ng to hide, why did he squirm when asked about his relationship with the regime?

Latest YouGov poll: 6% May lead on whom would make better PM. Both Tories and Labour on 42% for voting intention. Given that this government is in ‘disarray’, according to reports, shouldn’t Jezza be massively in the lead?

Corbyn is good at campaigning and would soon overturn a piddly 6% lead when he gets fair media access under election rules, rather than the diatribe of Propaganda spouted by the lackeys of the tax dodging non-doms who own the Telegraph, the Sun and the Daily Mail. Also some polls say things are going well The odd thing about the owners of the papers I mentioned, is that they keep banging on about patriotism but none of them actually want to live here, or none of them want to pay tax and yet they want to shape how our schools and hospitals are run or how our laws are made. They have less right to an opinion on these things than the the EU. We need a free press, not one locked in the pockets of a handful of rich old white Tory blokes.

He achieved Labour's second worst election result since Thatcher, despite being up against a Tory party that was putting forward some despicable campaign policies. I remember when the tories had people of substance. Heath, Macmillan, Butler, McLeod, Joseph, Sir Alec and the leaderene Mrs T. Don't think they were necessarily right but they wouldn't nail the UK on to an EU coffin for their own ends.

Brexit is one hell of a dilemma for Labour but to give credit where it is due, they have managed to maintain a semblance of a balancing act so far. For me the Tories have to take a gamble now. Nothing to lose really. Its clear that the EU are not going to make any sort of logical offer over a trade deal and May simply cannot deliver a hard brexit. She has to go, Rees Mogg needs to take over and then call a snap election strictly over Brexit. Make it clear that if returned to power he will instigate a full on clean Brexit and that whilst it might entail a modicum of financial confusion, ultimately it will be for the best. And no ambiguities about it. Stress that patriotic nature of it. Make it all about identity. Labour have a structural weakness on this and would struggle to maintain a united front. Any Tories who object would be deselected and pro-hard Brexit candidates put in their place. But as things stand, we are going nowhere fast. And even if Corbyn wins, he wants out of the EU anyway and would need to deliver a Brexit of sorts which I suspect would rapidly turn into a clean break given how the EU would object to his nationalisation plans.

In the poll though, only 21% of Londoners listed Brexit as one of their most important issues. The Tories are in a paralysis because they can't as a party move on from Brexit. They pretty much literally have nothing else to say. In my mind, what Labour have managed to do so successfully is break the recent political concensus that to win an election, you have to scare first and foremost, and that inspiring hope was a doomed mission. Labour have put forward a message which - whether you agree with it or not - is inspirational to millions of people in this country. What is inspirational, in any way, about a ruling party with a woman in meltdown as leader, chased by a pack of power hungry but incompetent cabinet ministers, with little or no policy substance, who have tied all their flags to the Brexit mast and are watching as the ship sinks in to the f*cking channel? Labour will win the next election with a bigger majority than anything Blair managed. That's my prediction. I mean, just look at how efficiently the Corbyn spy story has been slapped down and laughed off. The Establishment are bricking it because they have lost control over the narrative. If you needed any further proof of the utter incompetence of the current Tory mob, it is that they decided to stay in power at the last election. The smart thing to have done would've been to let some grand coalition in to f*ck things up, regroup in the wings and ride back in 18 months later. That they were so mercilessly Macchiavellian, allthewhile being completely out of ideas, is simply marvellous.
