Sad when anyone dies but with the endless news coverage at the moment it's as if the Pope, the Queen or the Dalai Lama have died. I'm sure she was a lovely, down to earth person but she was a TV presenter not president of the UN. Seems like we need a "national treasure" to fawn over after Jimmy and Rolf (adopted treasure) let us down so badly. RIP Cilla and thanks for taking the lion off the front pages.

Given the state of her teeth perhaps the Minnesota dentist shot her and the Lion died of natural causes

Doesn't need bailor approval - he's not actually been arrested or charged with any crime....... just had his home very publically searched..

I didn't think Cilla came across as very nice in the dramatisation which she presumably approved and collaborated with. One should not judge form a TV program of course.

As for Cliff. Someone apparently ITK told me long ago that he was gay.
I have often suspected that in trying to conceal your sexual preferences you leave yourself open to more sinister allegations. A symptom of different times.

If Cliff came out as gay now, no one would care, but I suppose a few of the blue rinse brigade might stop buying his records.
