I live in Fareham and we have a train station, the next town along is Gosport and they don't have a station, well they did have one, but it's like old ruins now. It would be good if they re opened it, but they built a bus link instead, which is good.

We have two stations where I live. One called Burgess Hill, one called Wivelsfield. Weirdly, Wivelsfield is a village that's a short drive away. Another hilarious anecdote was when AFC Wimbledon were in the same league as Burgess Hill Town. All the AFC Wimbledon fans incorrectly got off the train at Burgess Hill despite Wivelsfield being the nearest station. We have two stations where I live. One called Burgess Hill, one called Wivelsfield. Weirdly, Wivelsfield is a village that's a short drive away.

Another hilarious anecdote was when AFC Wimbledon were in the same league as Burgess Hill Town. All the AFC Wimbledon fans incorrectly got off the train at Burgess Hill despite Wivelsfield being the nearest station. It hurt them so much that they spent the whole game shouting "Come on Wivelsfield" at the Burgess Hill players.

When I moved to Selsdon I believed we had a train station, it was called Selsdon Station. But it wasn't near Selsdon, and it closed in 1983. I was so upset I moved to France. France has a railway station.
