I'm no troll, I've posted on these boards sporadically for years. I never questioned his footballing abilities and like I said he's always impressed me on the pitch. I know when someone's had a skinful and he had as was obvious from his behaviour inside and outside the club (Cirque, Ganton Street). I saw him a month or so ago at the same venue and didn't post anything as what he does is his own business. But like I said seeing Wilf and Wickham out with him was a bit of a worry as although he maybe able to handle it, it's not a good example to the younger pros. Albeit - as I said in my post - they seemed sober. For the record Wilf seemed like a nice kid but Wickham not so much.
He said he saw Chamakh at the same venue a month ago, and didn't say anything. He said that Wickham and Zaha were with him on Saturday.

Wilf and Wickham were pretty sober but the way they were behaving with Chamakh shouting his mouth off... if I were a pap I could easily have taken photos and tarred them all with the same brush.

If they had training the next day , they wouldn't be able to perform.

Have you had a bang on the head Peter Parker? I live on planet earth where the tabloids like nothing more than hanging footballers out to dry. What got more column inches on Sunday, Vardy's performance in a thrilling 4-2 opening day victory or his 'racist slurs'? Whilst I was watching those 3 clowns falling about I could almost read the copy in the morning paper "after vowing to make a fresh start £8m signing Connor Wickham was pictured staggering out of a Soho club at 3 in the morning with a visibly drunk, "injured" Marouane Chamakh and young starlet Wlfried Zaha...." Not big news but you could spin it to fill a few column inches. Of course they should celebrate success but they should be a bit more subtle and responsible about it. If the £50k a week salary doesn't compensate them for the sacrifices they have to make as elite athletes then they're in the wrong game.

Chamakh does definitely drink. I was out in Vegas in June and he was in Drai's nightclub ordering and drinking his fair share of Champagne.

I thought you said it was only Chamakh who was stumbling about? This story gets better with each new version. I find it interesting that you're crticising the tabloids, while at the same time you are clearly outraged at these players' alleged behavior.
