Also had many a tipple in the 'Porter and Sorter' before it was re-designed. Don't tell me you went to the lunchtime "Striptease" sessions in Scamps/ The Office ! I saw the Meteors at the Swamp in my youth, I got splattered in the dance floor. Next time I saw the Meteors was at the Ace Caf� a few years ago being backed by the Hot Rocket Trio (a Croydon rockabilly band now split), I made the mistake of thinking that because since the last time I saw the Meteors I had filled out & survived many a mad pit including many of the Ramones ones I'd be fine. Wrong, within 10 seconds of the first song I bowed out with blood pissing from my nose...
