In the last few months I have tipped the BT engineer and the British Gas engineer and they were really surprised when I offered them the money. I have also tipped the Autoglass chap who replaced my windscreen at my home.

It's minimum wage and he has to pay for a cab home as it is after the last bus. It's zero hours too so if it's wet and the pub isn't busy he will be told not to come in. It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses.
