PS. It fing on again now! Sunday night used to be Bulleye.** And in my youth "Sunday night at the London Palladium" featuring the game show "Beat the clock". I remember the 'Tiller Girls' and Jack Parnell.Used to be hosted by Jimmy Tarbuck and Norman Vaughan amongst others. I've heard of Tommy Trinder ! In fact my late mother-in-law's mother and Tommy and Freddie Trinder's mother knew each other and used to go on outings together.Never did meet my mother-in-law's mother - she had passed away.

What did you do in the war?

I was born in 1952 so wasn't in the two World Wars.
My uncle was in the Korean war in 1953 and whenever I see him he keeps going on about it.
I've not served in the forces so have not been in a battle arena.

As an aside, in our second date I took the future Mrs Himself to Camden Market and we ended up having a drink in World's End. She told me, quite bluntly, that as Rage Against the Machine played, that she 'did not get' metal. Therefore, I don't think our relationship will progress in the same way as yours and Mrs Hoof's has.

I have consistently stated on here that I am 63 this year. Born November 1952 in Mayday Hospital.I am informed that there was the great smog round about that time and friends/relatives couldn't visit the newly born baby !

I'm not some old "Fuddy duddy" !
