I walked away. Empress Car Sales, I bet. Wife beating may be socially acceptable in Sheffield, but it is a different matter in Cheltenham

I only buy cars after they have been through the RAC 218 point check, and the RAC have checked the warranty and HPI and accident background. If you mention that this will all happen before you buy the car, and the dealer says no to any of this, walk away. "It's not the bullet that's got my name on it that concerns me; it's all them other ones flyin' around marked 'To Whom It May Concern.'"
