The All Blacks are like Germany, they will have to have an off day to lose. They are just to good. Having said that I think we are more than capable of giving them a game (if we get that far) and if they have an off day who knows. I would also say South Africa as a Dark horse.
The irony being 2/3 of the team are white.

The irony being 2/3 of the team are white. More like 3/4, and some numpties actually tried to take them to court to prevent that being the chosen squad.

Have to say the draw that has allowed England, Wales or Australia to be knocked out whilst Ireland play basically a pub team, and no-one before the semi-final, was f***ing ridiculous. The draw could be done far closer to the actual cup - rather than two years beforehand. Any coincidence that Ireland is administered from Dublin?

We have 4 of the top 9 ranked teams in one group, which is monumentally stupid.

I just hope we top our group to set up a SH clash in the quarters, which will dump out either Aus or their opposition.

Living here in South Africa I'm really hoping the Springboks don't win it because the Afrikaners will be bloody insufferable!

Semi finalists in 2007, beating the hosts twice, and lost to NZ in NZ last time. And have you seen their group? They wouldn't even have to play a first team player to get through it.

Whilst New Zealand are the obvious favorites I think there strength in depth will let them down. Last time they were down to their 4th choice fly half Stephen Donald. He was called into the squad as a last minute replacement and had spent most of the world cup getting drunk with his mates. They won't be able to fly any specialist replacements over at such short notice to play and will end up needing to play people out of position. The Kiwi's are either going to play France or Ireland in the quarter final. France have an incredible record against them. Ireland don't. France may be the outsider to watch out for. They have a relatively easy group. They have spent weeks preparing for the world cup unlike the 6 nations where I think they had 1 weeks preparation. Also, there record of 3 finals an 0 wins has to come to an end one day. - That is if the people of Croydon decide to let them sleep.

I don't think I've explained myself that well. The point is that Donald was calling in to the squad as a replacement. Flying a player in from somewhere else in New Zealand with a couple of days notice was possible when they were at home. Flying them to the other side of the world will be much harder for them. Plus, didn't he move to a struggling Bath side after the World Cup and fail to hold down a first team place?

Looking forward to Fiji v England - at least it will be a good test for the lads. Didn't Wales have a bit of a hardtime against them last time out? (Apologies to the Wales fans on here.
