Apart from 1 match against Fiji (where we hammered them) the last 5 have all been pretty close. Including a defeat 'Lies to the masses as are like fly's to mollasses...they want more and more and more'

I think it's pretty lucky for Matt Dawson that he isn't going to be facing the All Blacks.

Your point about Steven Donald coming in as 4th choice Fly half and kicking the winning penalty sort of negates your point a bit....? I don't think I've explained myself that well. The point is that Donald was calling in to the squad as a replacement. Flying a player in from somewhere else in New Zealand with a couple of days notice was possible when they were at home. Flying them to the other side of the world will be much harder for them. Plus, didn't he move to a struggling Bath side after the World Cup and fail to hold down a first team place? Ah, i see your point. Yes, true. But surely that sort of bad luck can't happen again. It's New Zealand's to lose at this point. Fingers crossed for an AB/England final though - then it becomes anyone's game.

I think a lot depends on the ref. NZ get away with murder at the breakdown. The 2 hemispheres interpret the laws so differently its untrue. Lets see how they fare with european officials , plus their well known ability to choke when not at home in a world cup. I really think we are in with a shout if our first choices stay fit and hit form. Twickers is a massive plus for us as well.
