Not sexist. Just inappropriate. Obviously a woman with bitter memories and now latterly taking it out on this poor fella rather than those who made her angry and resentful. A cow-ard.

Pity the man who marries that 'stunner'

Kind of the same thing though.

I don't think you can really judge her for calling him out on it, he's shouldn't really be doing it, unless they're actually friends. Its the Email equivalent of the wolf whistling t*** on a building site.

I got a boner within five minutes of meeting the future Mrs K in a cafe. If she had found out at the time would that have been inappropriate or sexist or both?

Both probably, if you pointed out to her, and it might well have led to the future Mrs K being the future Mrs L

So, let's get this right.... she posted up her picture on a social media site and some man said her picture was "stunning".

I'm failing to see what crime has been committed here?

She has been treated like a sex object even though all she did was make sure the photo she used was well lit, showed her features off in a very complimentary way and enhanced her already attractive looks.

So not attention seeking at all then.

Not in my book........

IF he had commented "Phwoar, what a stunna you are darling blah blah".... then yes, but he merely commented that her picture was "stunning".

You could almost argue that he was commenting on the photographer's skill.

Its not a social media site in the way facebook or myspace are, its kind of more a social media sight in the way the 'company intranet directory' is.

Even said, if you're trolling through social media sites contacting women to tell them you find them 'stunning', you're still harassing people. Granted its not on a par with sending them a picture of your p****.

It's a public place effectively, and she willingly put her photo up for scrutiny.

As I already pointed out he didn't find her "stunning", it was her photo.

Over reaction by her and other FemiNazis.

That sounds like you're taking your 'Sexual Harassment' training from a Carry On movie.

You could argue that, but you'd be lying. You'd still know that you contacted her because her picture was pretty.

Its not as sexist, but it sexist, in the same way the term 'the blacks' isn't as racist as 'the ******s'.

So she was linking in with people she didn't know or had never worked with - what exactly did she expect in return??

Are you suggesting that she was asking for it, but having the temerity to put a picture on her account like everyone else does?

The photo is of her though, at work / dressed for work. Like everyone's photo on linkedin. How many men does he contact to compliment on their photos.

Its not 'rate my rack'

In fairness, I've probably learned more about inappropriate behavior from Carry On Movies, than in work seminars. Seminar on sexual harassment, no need, I'm pretty good at foxing those dirty little minxes.
