You know that there is no defence for her nonsense when LegalEagle and Gusset don't show up/jump in with Harriet Harman-esque defences after 4 pages of comments.

Err....he was inappropriate and stupid to use "linked in" like that. She is OTT in her reaction. What's to comment?!

She comes off as someone waiting for others to f*** up slightly so she can humiliate them. He looks like a patronising, saddo with his hands down his pants. I call it a draw.

Agreed.

Although she does strike me as a bit of a tit.

Having skim read her 'story' in the press one of the things she seems to note is that other people have got job offers through LinkedIn, and she's only got someone commenting on how she looks.

I would like to state here and now that I have also never received any job offers from LinkedIn (just a never ending stream of recruitment agents wishing to connect to me to gain access to my contacts), and also I have never had a comment about my picture being stunning. This is clearly sexist (as it can have nothing to do with my skills or qualifications) and I wish to make a stand right now!

I am available for interviews with the press.

LinkedIn is just a slightly upmarket facebook.

I used to work for London Life and loads of my ex colleagues are on it. You should see some of the comments flying around between us!

She is/was a silly attention seeking/vindictive cow.

Don't see what she did wrong. It's a business platform and her picture was entirely appropriate. Some sad old perv was being innapropriate and she called him out on it. Trust me when I say that sexism in the legal profession is rife. Everywhere you look from the top firms down there is blatant sexism passed off as 'banter' it's ridiculous and if she wants to call out a married partner in a firm for being innapropriate on Linked in then good luck to her.

Yes there are different levels of sexism and prejudice towards women, obviously that's the case, she specialises in that sort of law, so she is hardly likely to let an innapropriate comment go. Even if it's not really a big deal. The guy is also a moron, one read of her profile and he would have known she wouldn't take the comment well, but he wasn't reading her profile, just looking at her photo. So f*ck him.
