As for me in their situation, I'd fight.

I'd get nothing from you lot.

Any cowards fleeing though, you'd give a home and British lifestyle too.

Like I say, if they can get to Turkey and many have, they could join the Kurdish forces fighting IS right now.

Some have.

And they will receive absolutely nothing from you will they.

When you're in a life or death situation you're not thinking about what you'd get from 'you lot', 'the left', 'the right', 'people on the internet''. You're not there, you never will be. They act based on what their life is, what it has become, what is happening in their country, their immediate environment and their understanding of it. Their families. You don't get to speak for realities you will never experience and have little understanding of. You're in toy soldiers mode again. Condescend these 'cowards' all you will, but if they move next door to you, you'll be putting on a fake smile and getting on with your day. Thankfully.

I'm not using anything to make a point. Reality doesn't require currency. I'm demonstrating how changeable the situation is. You're not there, you never will be so don't have to make decisions based on reality, rather than fantasy. You don't value these people we get it, you'd rather they go to Germany than here. You view them as cowards. Fine. That's your choice.

You putting yourself in a position where you think you know situations better than I do is simple hubris on your part.....More politics than what you think is reality.

There will be situations where what you say is more accurate and where mine are.......The numbers for either is pure speculation.....And politics.

My god you're condescending.

Please don't speak of me as if you know me. You have no idea.

I don't regard all of them as cowards...I'm more making a point about punishment and reward.....As in a post where I answered some points to Jamie....Which you obviously didn't read despite saying I hadn't answered him.

Ah well.

You would have been a superb Kitchener/Haig back in the day, Stirling. Patriotism, war, glory, getting the girl.......seeing your friends blown to bits, fighting for the ruling classes, the futility.

By the way....Are you posts, answers to my points? No, not really.

You have a pop at me about 'answering', but you all you do is ignore what you don't want to tackle and go on your own narrative.

You talk as if you're actually in Syria so I wouldn't for a minute think to say that I know better than you. You're ready with a condescending 'on kermy' or 'oh jamie' silly you at every turn. Your own thoughts are clouded by narcissism, so no wonder you think people are speaking out of turn when they have to have an opinion. Maybe 'the left' are to blame, or 'muslims' or 'retards' or 'retarded monkeys' or whatever you called me last time I dared to have an opinion .

Literally every other second you're going on about 'muslims' or 'the left'. We all have a narrative. None of them fully reflect reality. I'm honest enough at least to appreciate that.

You know what Kermy, despite having very little politically in common.....I always kind of like your posts.

There's a kind of poetry in this one.

But I wouldn't have been fighting for the ruling classes. I would have been fighting for my nation's independence as a free country..

The kind of thing the modern left couldn't give a monkey's about.

Sounds he just needs a Netflix subscription? Maybe an argument over the remote? That's as close as we'll get to war, though of course we know better for those actually in it. How arrogant we've become in our understanding of other peoples lives.

I think that's fair enough. Our views are always a compromise with reality......As objective truth is inherently an unknowable.

Any way back on track lads. What we should be doing is holding them all in transit and dispersing them back to Muslim countries such as Qatar, UAE, Kuwait etc. Especially those with strong fundamentalist leanings.

Do I spy a glimmer of commonality? We may both be suckling on a Syrian teet before long it seems. After all, you have no problem with the women.
