Can't help but think that we're barking up the wrong tree with Sissoko with his preferred choice of destination being allegedly Real Madrid: Perhaps the Subway voucher book might prove to be the key clincher though...

If no big clubs come in for him, then the AP connection, the French connection (Cabaye & maybe Remy) & the Benteke attraction might tempt him to come to us to gain PL exposure for a season or 2. And as someone else commented we could potentially sell him on to a big club at a profit.

Why would he come to Palace, about as much chance as Pogba having a change of heart and signing for us. He has just been a star player for France in the Euros, top European clubs after him. I would love to see him here, but you have got to be realistic.

If he goes missing most of the season and only plays on the big stage, not really what we need at £35m I wouldn't touch him with a barge pole at £35 million, but if, as I suspect, the interest from the so called big clubs has all been stirred up by his agent then I think that on deadline day if it came down to a fight to get him at 15-20 million with the mid to lower range premiere league clubs, then I'd go all out to get him.

£35 mil would be probably the worst transfer deal in history. Even worse than Andy Carroll. He is a very average player as he's shown the last couple of prem seasons. Plus he's 27, so little resale value. Cannot see Parish going for this in a million years.
