I'm not sure how a return to policies that don't work and have never worked is a good thing but the young and gullible will suck on it for a while.

Well they formed the welfare state after capitalism failed and we were exhausted after war. A lot of the values behind the policies are still around.

You can't seriously believe the neo-liberal policies are really working and the economy is doing well.

Massive consumer debt after a world crisis based on bad debt and interest rates unsustainable low; the economy going low wage, research and development budgets on floor as shareholder demand quick win cash; housing policy in a complete mess with the state having to subsidize rocket high rents as the rent to buy market is the best way of making money because of low interest that dare not rise. The slowest recovery in history and the (right wing) government having to legislate a slow wage increase because private companies are too greedy to offer a fair days pay for a fair days work.

The Daily Mail, the Telegraph (The Sun doesn't count as its for really stupid people) might big up the economic situation up but they are so bias as to be nothing more than the advertising agency for the Tory Party. Frankly I'd trust Chemie Grünenthal to sell my wife something to ease morning sickness more than I'd trust those liars to tell me how the economy was going.

I think the young arn't as gullible as the old are short sighted to be honest.

Here you go again with your ridiculous accusations that all of us are guided by the Tory press.

Interesting Nick but I went further than your highlighted link and found out by researching Truepublica and found the following quote on their site:
"The website attracted writers from The Independent Newspaper and policy writers from the labour party"

and...

If you seriously want people to read something you believe backs up your argument just use an unbiased source, not links that are basically propaganda. Like hoof, I would never click on one like that, your angry voice ones, union ones etc.

What's this about Abramovic too?

Optimistic as ever

The article is one side of an argument. The angry voice ones are very good because they are backed up with research- always linked.
Are any articles unbiased? Do you get your info from sources that are unbiased?

As for Abramovitch...

But it's the New statesman so you'll probablydismiss it with a wave of your hand.

Have you got a link to Readers Digest?

The press get at everybody nick.... last week it was Cameron..... before that Farage, Rifkind, Straw.... Blindcnut.

Did you read the link?

It's a left wing opinion piece - you might as well ask if you've read the BNP literature when talking about immigration

Of course I didn't read it, for the reasons you've just stated.

Anyway.... I don't like reading fiction in the mornings!

Then your arguments against it are null and void.

In the same way that your arguments are null and void when Farage et al is attacked by the media and you won't listen to counter arguments.

I do listen to counter arguments. I just don't agree with them. But at least I take the time to read them.

I agree with npn's summing up above and rather suspect that is a view held by many people that voted Conservative last May.

You can publish as many pro left Blogs as you like, but it won't change the facts nick.

What in your opinion are the facts?

FFS I told you to read npn's summing up.

Do you teach your kids like this?

Getting them to rewrite passages from their text books?

NPN didn't sum up the article in the post you mentioned.

You are hard work... I said I agreed with his summing up.... not the summing up of the article, but as you can see, he now has summed up the article rather unfavourably and I'm glad to see that I didn't waste my precious time going over it.

Reading pro left blogs is like listening to Russell Brand ........ very predictable.

Finito.

Don't read this article!

I don't want one side of an argument, i'll make up my own mind from the details and what you think is good is subjective.

So this £45m being given to Abramovich is actually a £45m loan, to a company he owns 30% of, which is paying another British company to carry out the works in Canada.

And I didn't need your, yet again, biased source to find out those details. Or do you refute that is what's happening?
