You're simply trying to have dig at Cameron when our relationship with them pre-dates him by 90 odd years.

And you're about as funny as getting leprosy would be.

In another thread about an hour ago, I said I give Corbyn two years, I suppose that was a 'dig' at him too. I made a joke at Cameron's expense because he chose to call them 'our friends', about the same day as the Saudis dropped more bombs killing civilians in Yemen and how the government treat their own people - women especially. Keep the insults coming, you've clearly had a bad day and I won't be rising to it.

Call Me Dave insists the Saudis are our friends despite their terrible human rights record. But then this is a man who possibly lashed a dead pig's mouth 350 times with his todger so he looks at this from a different angle.

We've been trading with them for 100 years you pillock.

I'm simply stating that he has recently said they are 'our friends', when they have a horrendous human rights record. I have no love for him or any other prime minister talking about them that way. They're 'our friends' because it's in our interests. Our country hasn't and doesn't care about the way the country treats its people. Yes that troubles me. Or rather, how we justify our actions across the region.

Also, please let me know how your sense of humour transplant goes.

I think its fair to say that the UK has never cared about how other countries treat their populations. Sometimes the UKs interests coincide with attacking a nation who does mis-treat its population but this is never the cause of the attack.

Sadly, I think you're right.

Quote But BBC security correspondent Frank Gardner said Saudi and UK officials had assured him "there was never any question" of Mr Andree being flogged.

Delays in Saudi bureaucracy meant his release papers were held up, he said.

Looks like blokey's off the hook.

Our relationship with the Saudi's pretty much sits with Roosevelt and our agreement we won't have a go at their religion (Wahhibism, f***ing brutal) if we can have cheap oil and basically a presence in the region.

Awesome documentary on it called "Bitter Lake" by Adam Curtis, on iPlayer at the moment. [Link]

No, as A) it's not a dig, it's a guess and B) I doubt you followed it up with some nonsense about his alleged past.

You also didn't make a joke, you might have thought you did but that story's been around a while now and any jokes about it have been long done, some with actual comedic value.

What the Saudi's do in Yemen has f*** all to do with us, as does their own laws. Or maybe you'd like them to tell us what we can do in our country?

You rose to it when you edited your first post. In a failed attempt to be funny.

Optimistic as ever

So what people do in their own country is always fine? We shouldn't even have an opinion?

On that account, I take it you're against every single intervention of ours in the middle east then? If so I'm pleased to hear it and it somewhat makes up for the fact that you've completely and unnecessarily lost your rag over a silly, meaningless joke. I joked about Ed and his bacon sandwich too. How terrible of me not to take politicians seriously.

Yep, of late. Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, Syria... sod all to do with us and achieved next to f*** all.

Just because I called you a pillock, don't assume I've lost my rag. I just thought it a suitable moniker to use after your post.

Jokes are funny. Just saying "todger" in a statement isn't.
