Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink has been performing minor miracles at Burton and with his pedigree I am genuinely curious as to why he hasn't been offered or even connected with any half-decent positions. Maybe that will all change soon enough. Hope so. Can't be the dreaded 'r' word surely? He has. A Championship club wanted him, which is a step up from Belgian div 2 & Leagues 1 & 2. I discussed the approach with Jimmy, and his response was to say that he was very flattered and grateful for the opportunity but feels that this would not be the right option for him at this time.

Where was Paul Ifill from? Bit of an oversight there maybe? Brighton, I think! He wouldn't, and didn't, get into my top 10. From memory, his first two seasons were mediocre at best* but when he was good, he was very good. *probably due to injury.
