It's a good film and one of many from that era but all you have to do is tune into ITV 1,2,3 on any given saturday and it's on.
Anyway in 2yrs time "it's time to start running"

The science fiction idea of time travel is quite ridiculous.
The paradox problem means that reality cannot possibly be that way. Parallel time lines are one theoretical solution but in sci fi they usually get rather mixed up with what theory they are going with.

I think effectively its into 'singularity' situations, at least based on current knowledge (personally I tend towards the idea that its impossible to travel to previous times, or future times in that kind of manner - effectively you're getting outside of space-time dimensions and known physics.

'Time travel' would be possible within the theorem of the Multiverse. a person could theorecically travel backwards in the timeline of their Universe.
Changes you make in that timeline would not 'alter' future timelines but instead Create many new 'futures' based on the changes the person made.
The larger issue is travelling forwards again, as you now have an infinite amount of universes to travel forward into, so if you managed to get back to the universe you came from, it'd be like hyou never went back in the first place.

Personally I do not adhere to any of it, what you do you do, it cannot be undone...There is not a universe in which I chose not to have breakfast this morning.

What he said.

You are right. Time travel is SO next year.

You have no future as a comedian. It doesn't take Einstein to fighure that out.

What do you lot think of Superman's method of going back in time (flying so fast in the opposite direction the earth spins to make it reverse and therefore give him a chance to save Lois Lane).

I'd have thought he'd get pretty dizzy.
