I loved Back to the Future when I was a kid and still do now. Was 4 or 5 when it came out and it was the first film I ever had on video and watched repeatedly. For a lot of people, especially around my age, it defined our first few years at school and games in the playground (as did the rest of the series) so it holds a lot of nostalgia.

When Back to the Future was being touted to various studios, Disney turned it down thinking the whole mum fancying her son thing was too risqué but virtually all the other studios turned it down because it wasn’t dirty enough compared the successful teen comedies of the time.

I'm a huge fan of The films, as they are one of the few 'time travel' movies that actually manages the causality thing quite well. Also, Surely for time travel to even be possible, a modicum of 'Everything is Fate' must be true? so it's not really the Films fault, but it's a consequence of Time travel. Unless, of course, you subscribe to the multiverse theory, which would get very messy very quickly - and wouldn't lend itself very well to a teen comedy "It was a Team effort, I guess it took all players working together to lose this one"

I'm a huge fan of The films, as they are one of the few 'time travel' movies that actually manages the causality thing quite well.
