I've just recently created an all sports forum called "The Away Trip" we aim to connect and unite sporting fans of all different sports from all around the world. Seeing as we've only just recently opened we're still quite small but we aim to become one of the biggest sports communities on the net' and we would love it for you to become a a part of our growing inaugural member base.

We have a tendency to like Everton because they aren't Liverpool.

The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money.

Some of my favourite Christmas memories involve stealing toffees from the sweet bowl on Christmas Eve despite strict instructions to limit my intake until Christmas Day, so inevitably I like Everton more than Liverpool. Although I just realised I covered both the blue and red side of Merseyside by mentioning toffees and theft in my anecdote.

I was a student in Liverpool in the 1970s. I went to Anfield a couple of times but then started going to Goodison for my football fix. I was there the night you beat Man Utd in 1974 and virtually condemned them to 2nd division football (City and Law made sure the following Saturday )

So, I have fond memories of Everton and wish you well, except of course when you play us.
