However, a politician who either supports something without knowing what it is, or doesn't stand by his views - even if its to admit that they did hold those views but in the light of Paris, they have reconsidered their view, is a c**t. The hate for Corbyn and his ilk is interesting, I don't think I've seen that much spite against a leader since Thatcher. I don't know that it's spite, so much as a sudden realisation that these people are in no way fit to govern. Alternative viewpoints are great for democracy, but put those same mavericks in a position of power and they are very soon exposed as "all ideals, no idea".

I don't really have a problem with his views, their his views, what I don't like is the trying to worm out of them. Its fine to support disarming the police or devolving MI-5 - its a democracy and all views should be freely expressed and discussed, without resorting to rhetorical nonsense.

However, a politician who either supports something without knowing what it is, or doesn't stand by his views - even if its to admit that they did hold those views but in the light of Paris, they have reconsidered their view, is a c**t.

The hate for Corbyn and his ilk is interesting, I don't think I've seen that much spite against a leader since Thatcher.

I don't know that it's spite, so much as a sudden realisation that these people are in no way fit to govern.

Alternative viewpoints are great for democracy, but put those same mavericks in a position of power and they are very soon exposed as "all ideals, no idea".
