A peace agreement joint sovereignty anglo-argentina
administration opening up trade with South America these are things which could benefit both countries and the islanders.

What is the result of this war - just to maintain a garrison for ever?

Nobody is giving the Falklands back to Argentina - its been too long and worth a try for an agreement to benefit all.

I quite fancy a bit of Bora Bora. I'll promise to buy lots of stuff in their tourist gift shop if they give me joint sovereignty of a modest island. Seems fair.

The islanders don't want joint sovereignty.

The islands have never been part of Argentina.

If the Argentines really think British rule of the islands is an act of 'imperialism', then I implore them to set an example and all go back to Spain & Italy, from whence their colonising forefathers and foremothers came from, and allow the native 'first nation' inhabitants to run the country.

The result of the war was repelling the illegal invasion by Argentina and allowing the islanders to live as they wish to live, free and as Britons.

Quite agree, its not for the people of the UK, or Argentina, to decide the fate of the Falklands, but for those who live there. Its their choice, and they overwhelmingly want to remain part of the UK, as British Overseas Citizens. For as long as they do, then we have an obligation and duty to respect and protect their right to choose their sovereignty, until such time as they democratically decide to become independent, or part of Argentina.

They're as Argentine as the sweat in my crotch.

Sir, permit me to recommend that should you wish to get some Argentine 'sweat on your balls', that you visit the Rainbow Bar in Shoreditch. If you are unsure of where it is, Superfly will direct you.

Sorry, I can't help I'm afraid. My bank manager has set up a 1 mile exclusion zone manned by snipers.

I believe our last 'gentleman's afternoon' was the trigger for the current economic meltdown.

How do they think they can get away with such barefaced lying? Yet it remains the biggest selling paper in the country.

When I think of all the anti Tory and anti right wing stories we see every day in the media, this kind of moaning from the likes of Gusset is frankly hilarious.

Whether you're left wing or right wing the Corbyn dancing photoshopped thing was just ridiculous and proves how much the established media tycoons are worried about somebody getting in who would challenge them. Unfortunately our media is predominately right wing and the public lap it up by in large. Debate is dead nowadays.

Where are these stories? I think the right are well looked after by the mainstream to be fair.

Happy to let the lies go on. Fair enough.
