Why do they carry ? fear of other people with guns. Sounds like the wild wild west again pardner! Mind you... I'll bet the people at that concert in Paris wished they were tooled up. I see the Republicans have been on the anti-anti gun legislation again (admittedly brought by four Republicans). Even the very reasonable gun control laws to make the same laws apply to online and gun show sales and to prevent people on the terrorist 'no fly' list from buying firearms. Be surprised if they weren't. Its pretty common for 'spree shooters' to identify and align themselves with extremist ideas and philosophy. Hopefully this will serve as a wake up call to the US about gun control and availability, which is far more of a threat to Americans than IS.

But I doubt it'll make any difference.
