A new Striker in January?

However I think we still need a regular goal scoring striker and a centre back to push for Delaney's place. ..it appears Wickham is learning and developing positively with his team mates, no reason to upset this with another unsettling period with a new player, he needs time to get used to playing in his desired position, Palace will probably buy another striker anyway to replace the removal of Gayle and Campbell, Delaney has been one of the main reasons for our good fortune and in case of injury up steps Mr Hangeland who has had good time to reflect on his mistake for setting up Vardy for their winner, he is good enough for cover, whether Mr Pardew agrees with all that is another thing of course .......has our coach driver done a Poo'yet, without thinking about Gus!

You always new signings to improve and get rid of deadwood like Murray. If we could get Paddy MacCarthy off the pay role and get a CB who is available to give competition, would help. Personally I do not want to sign anyone in January.
A lot of our signings have hardly played.
I suggest we save the 20 Million.!!!!!!

3 first team automatic starters, werent here last December.
You always new signings to improve and get rid of deadwood like Murray.
If we could get Paddy MacCarthy off the pay role and get a CB who is available to give competition, would help. That guy must have a hell of a contract, he hasnt been near the first team in 4 years, why is he still here?

Wickham is getting better, how he hasn't scored in the last 2 games is a mystery to me. One of those excellent headers should have found the net.
I'm optimistic that he will be the answer eventually.

I really think that unless we get remy or similar, we really don't need a striker. My reasoning is that it's not as if we've had a striker with lots of chances that hasn't converted. Bloasie, Zaha, Gayle, WICKHAM ETC HAVE ALL GOT CRACKING shots when they've got a chance. Gayle, if fed the right ball, will finish as good as the best. Wickham has been utterly unselfish and provided assists - but he can finish too. So, to warrant buying a striker, we would need to be in a situation where strikers have been given chances but failed to convert - that isn't the case - rather, chances themselves have been too few. I like our team as it is now. I'd put no pressure on CW to score - just keep on doing as he is now. Maybe Remy as a backup to CW but I'm not sweating on it. Our team as it stands now should finish in the top 5. [Link]
