A very good coach, scout, motivator in my opinion I agree maybe still hasn't got the know how yet to get a promotion but your in very good hands. Also despite the consensus that he is a dour gaffer the couple of month run from losing at Bristol City to going top of the league at Peterborough (I think ) in our promotion season, was some of the best football I've seen in my 30 years supporting palace and I attended every game in that run ( I think only surpassed by our Football under Steve Bruce and Pardiola at the moment)

I think after the initial game had been postponed due to fog that came down on the Trent 10 minutes before kick off. I had bunked school, got the train up and ended up grounded for a game that never actually happened ha, ha.

Yes we started his final season with 3 league losses, one of which was to Bristol City.The cup match to which you refer was Preston where we lost 4-1.

You inferred that he was in charge for the next 11 games but I think that for the last few of those games, Lennie Lawrence and then Curtis Fleming were 'Caretakers' before they left to join him.
