[Link] Probably not going to be considered by anyone, but Billy Corgan from The Smashing Pumpkins has demonstrated some incredible guitar skills in the past. This isn't the best song, the best performance of it, the best sound quality or anything, but watch his fingers especially when it gets to the end. All whilst singing (shouting). Probably not going to be considered by anyone, but Billy Corgan from The Smashing Pumpkins has demonstrated some incredible guitar skills in the past.

This isn't the best song, the best performance of it, the best sound quality or anything, but watch his fingers especially when it gets to the end. All whilst singing (shouting).

Here he is discussing and demonstrating his playing style: [Link] This is him (or is it Biff Parsons?) showing off his Bill Crook Custom T-Style guitar: [Link] And this is a live performance of one of his instrumental tracks, Time Warp: [Link] I would recommend his albums to anyone, in particular his 2005 album Time Well Wasted, 2007’s 5th Gear and American Saturday Night, released in 2009. He also recorded a superb instrumental album, Play, in 2008 featuring guest appearances from James Burton, John Jorgenson, Albert Lee and B.B. King, among others. Along with Time Warp, some of my favourite instrumental tracks of Brad’s include Kentucky Jelly, Huckleberry Jam, Chicken Chet and What a Friend We Have in Jesus, while his playing on songs such as Me Neither, Mr Policeman and Camouflage is outstanding as well.

He also recorded a superb instrumental album, Play, in 2008 featuring guest appearances from James Burton, John Jorgenson, Albert Lee and B.B. King, among others.

Thanks Dan - had never heard of Brad Paisley and that first video shows he is more than just a very accomplished guitarist but obviously doesn't blatantly show off his skills like rock "axemen" do.
