One of the concerning, unknown elements here is that North Korea has been working on making a nuke small enough to put on a ballistic missile. If they can do / have done that, the world just got a lot scarier.

However, if North Korea hadn't been testing ballistic missiles for a while now, we wouldn't have this fantastic piece of Daily Show reportage, from the golden era of Stewart and Colbert. [Link]

It's not unknown, it's them talking bollocks. They can't do it, haven't done it and probably won't be able do it in the future either.

Optimistic as ever

Unlike our Daish / ISIS friends the North Koreans aren't interested in martyrdom and as such its simply for political posturing.

There is no way they'd strike knowing full well the'd get wiped off the face of the earth if they tried it by more than one super power.

Scary or what?

Most commentators seem to be adamant that North Korea have managed to test a Nuclear Device based on the evidence of "Earthquake" type sensations on or near the border with China.

Thoughts?

Observations?

Worries?

Maybe Kim just fell out of bed.

And I'm not happy that I missed out on the "mass rape thread" tear up. I always look forward to the liberal excuses.

So they have developed an earthquake nuclear bomb and cured cancer all in the last 6 months, impressive stuff.

Wish Kim would abuse Allah or something. Even draw a cartoon would do. Then IS would put a jihad out on him, some nutter would blow himself/herself up at one of the N Korean parades, Kim would nuke IS and the world becomes a safer place.

If Carling did fanaticism.....

Living down here does have some advantages. At least you can see them cry.

Meeeh everyone has nukes they make us all safer, more the merrier I say.

They are horrendous un how they treat the civilians and the crimes against humanity in N. Korea are abhorrent, but the leaders of the military do quite like being alive, so they won't use them even if they have them, which I doubt. But it is more political currency.

The opening scenes of Team America were rather prescient weren't they?

It's their fourth test Hoof. Where have you been?

Forget the nuclear stuff. This is what blew me away recently. 150,000 capacity. That's what we should be aiming for at Selhurst. They even painted the seats the right colour.

This one appear to have been successful and they've upped the ante.

You are in a strange mood today, laughing off armageddon and condoning mass rape by Muslims?

It wasn't mass rape! Groping and touching up perhaps.
