Well the holradio transfer spesh is going to be a bit crap then Feb 1st don't forget to tune in. Just have some pun...I mean fun. Maybe just give Jel some topics to rant about. he doesn't like topics, he's more into milky way stars. Well if the show ever needs a Boost... It's this sort of post that mars my enjoyment of this site.

Just because we have more money it doesn't mean we abandon prudent financial management where transfers and wages are concerned - that's the way to end up with no money....

To get the thread back on track, the reason we might not buy anyone is very simple: because we don't have to. I guarantee you that if we were in the bottom five, we'd be spending money. Equally, the same applies if we were in the top 4. But it's a viable strategy to say look, the goal is to stay up and we're going to do that and we'd be much better off upgrading in the summer. This may be frustrating now but it is a coherent long-term strategy and Parish has proved nothing if not sensible. I think we will bring a player in, but I wouldn't be totally shocked if we didn't.

I beleive Wickham is defo good enough to lead the line, but you cannot score goals with no service, Glenn Murray proved that during his 1st season with us when he got 6 goals by feeding off scraps and half chances, a 2nd winger arrives and bang he scores goals,
