Although I have to agree green is not a speroni upgrade, I would assume it likely that Julian has asked for game time, and therefore the only way he is going to get that is on loan. The club are probably happy with the risk reward here (reward purely being that of giving speroni his wish). Unless you're Richard Wright no one's keen on sitting on the bench for months on end. I'm going with the club doing him a favour angle rather than pardew thinks green is significantly better than speroni
