Well he seemed like an odious individual. Just read that link Superfly posted. Awful stuff. I met Cecil on a few occasions and he was the portrait of suave aplomb, a man of erudition and a true gentleman.
There are those who are being judgemental about a particular episode in his lifetime.I'm not privy to all the facts but I thought I would re-dress the balance by stating how I found him on the occasions I met him.Found him to be a very nice and erudite chap.
