The deal is really irrelevant as Cameron had not asked for any changes to freedom of movement or any repatriation of powers to the UK.

In the final anaysis, Cameron always wanted to campaign to stay in the EU so only asked for minor changes.

True Willo, but if we (god forbid) do end up staying in – then these ‘concessions’ are all we are left with. And that’s if they even get voted through!

Yes the deal is NOT legally binding. It can be "Torn up" by the EU politicians and judges so in effect it is an unsigned contract.

I suspect that dear Boris is biding his time to see which way the strongest wind seems to be blowing - if it's in the right (out vote) direction he will then plan his campaign to challenge for the leadership when Cameron has to stand down, as he almost certainly will over the loss of confidence that an 'Out' vote would show.

I don't subscribe to this view that Cameron will be duty bound to "Stand Down" if the UK votes to leave.I don't see this as being an issue of "No Confidence" in the PM Per Se.

I agree - I don't think this is even political. People who normally have no interest in politics will have a view on Europe - just like in Scotland and devo.

His position will be untenable and you will have helped to make that happen.

He doesn't need enemies with Tory loyalists like your good self, does he?

We are not all automatons.
This is cross-party matter and Cameron himself allowed his ministers to campaign whichever way they felt about remaining or leaving the EU.

I have been an active and loyal member of the Conservative Party for decades and I will continue to support them.

For what it is worth, I do wholeheartedly agree that EU has been a poorly run political animal but rather than put it down , it needs to be operated upon from within, for the potential growth and development that it can generate for UK needs & interests.

For those who wish us to leave, then you obviously think Barack Obama is likewise a cretan given his views. He said the UK's EU membership "gives us much greater confidence about the strength of the transatlantic union".

So is Barack wrong as well? Or is he a realist in terms of modern day market forces and beyond?

Don't assume anyone anti EU is pro Farage, it's lazy.

"We" would be the people that want the UK to leave the EU.

And Barack can mind his own f***ing business. Which is exactly what the USA would think if we tried to weigh in on domestic issues or regarding their sovereignty.

If we remain in, I want it to be for the benefit of ordinary people, not corporations. Is there anyone that can convince me that this would happen?

If we leave, will I still be covered medically with an E111 card? Or will I no have to pay for medical treatment when visiting eu countries?

How often have you ever really needed to use an E111 card abroad? Do you never go outside of the EU for fear of not having the same cover?

And before that we simply had travel insurance, which people still take out anyway and does the same thing.

All because the EU needs more members, so they ignored the fact that they never qualified to join in the first place.

The EU put Greece in the mess they're in, and now they tell them how to pay for the mess.

There's huge irony in the EU migration commissioner being Greek too.

Yet you were among those castigating labour for having differences within the shadow cabinet...
